Spring Commencement Exercises
10 a.m. Friday, May 6, Trojan Arena: More than 800 students are expected to participate in commencement exercises. The guest speaker for the event is Arlene Jackson, associate vice chancellor for global initiatives for the American Association of Colleges and Universities. She will be presented an honorary doctorate by the Board of Trustees during the ceremony.
SPECIAL COVERAGE OPPORTUNITY AND MEDIA AVAILABILITY
9 A.M., Trojan Arena, lower level practice gym: The first-ever graduates of the Pike County Aviation Academy, Colton Johnson and Dakota Wood, both seniors at Goshen High School, will receive their associate of arts degree from Troy University. Many media outlets have covered the academy and Trojan Aviation from the start. Additionally, Johnson has earned his private pilot's license through the program.
A brief media availability with the students will take place in the practice gym prior to commencement.

Board of Trustees Meeting
2 p.m., Hawkins Hall, Third Floor Conference Room: The Troy University Board of Trustees will meet. The agenda includes reports by the board committees for Academic Affairs, Finance, Student Affairs, and Athletic Policy.
