TROY Service Centers meet the needs of working adults, including military, government agency civilians, teachers and future business leaders who want the opportunities that come with earning a degree. Because adult learners often have different educational needs than traditional students, courses are provided at times and in formats designed around people who work and have other commitments for their time.

Barnes and Noble (B&N) is the new bookstore for all TROY students (TROY Online, Service Centers, and Alabama Campuses). All TROY students will have the option to order textbooks using one of the following methods:
Please Note: Starting Term 1/FALL 2015, students will not have to complete “an electronic voucher form”. If your Financial Aid is approved and accepted, you may purchase your textbooks by typing in your student id number upon checkout.
Students who have additional financial aid available, after tuition and fees have been paid, may charge required textbooks and approved supplies through the Barnes and Noble (B&N) Bookstore. B&N Bookstore charges cannot exceed the amount of excess financial aid available to the student or a limit of $1200.00. In addition to excess financial aid funds, students may also use Chapter 31 VA, Alabama G.I. Dependents’ Scholarship Program, or Alabama Vocational Rehab. The student’s VA Form 1905 or other TA Form must authorize book charges and list the amount authorized to be approved for book charging. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure the correct textbook is purchased and received in a timely manner. For more detailed instructions on how to charge books using the online options, please click here.
The deadlines for charging books are shown on the TROY Online Academic Calendar.
If you live outside the United States make sure that you order your book(s) early or have them shipped to you by the fastest means possible. You are responsible for making sure you receive your textbooks in a timely manner.
