About Dr. Damon Andrew, dean of the College of Health and Human Services
Dr. Andrew earned his doctorate in sports administration at Florida State University and holds a master’s of science in exercise physiology from the University of South Alabama, a master’s of science in exercise and sports sciences in biomechanics and a master’s of science in exercise and sports sciences in sports management from the University of Florida. He earned an undergraduate degree in physical education/exercise science.
A native of Pensacola, FL, Dr. Andrew has been an assistant professor and sports management doctoral program director at the University of Tennessee since 2006. Prior to joining the UT faculty, he taught at the University of Louisville for two years and coordinated that institution’s doctoral program in sports administration. He has also served on the faculty of Florida State University and the University of Florida.
