Phenix City Campus Locations

Troy University officials and representatives from Phenix City celebrated the "realization of a grand vision" in July 2015, officially dedicating the University's new campus along the banks of the Chattahoochee River.

The 48,000-square foot, four-story, $11.5 million building houses the Phenix City Campus' business, nursing and social work programs and includes three centers for excellence: the Center for Water Resource Economics and the Small Business Accelerator, RiverCity Foundry. The building will also serve as the center of the Phenix City Campus' community outreach program and is available for community-hosted events.

"We are excited about what this new facility means for this community and for Troy University," said Dr. Jack Hawkins, Jr., Chancellor. "This building will serve as the core of what will ultimately be a larger facility that will house all of our programs in Phenix City. As Thoreau said, 'It's not what you are looking at, but what you see.' This is the realization of a grand vision that began more than a decade ago, and it is only through strong partnerships and community support that we stand here today."

Community and governmental leaders have crafted a vision for redeveloping Phenix City's riverfront into an attractive, stable and economically viable part of the region. Troy University and its Phenix City Campus are helping to make this vision a reality by building a new academic building on the riverfront. Phase II of the new Phenix City Campus construction will consist of developing another 44,000 square feet onto the current structure. All of the faculty, staff and programs at the current campus located off U.S. Highway 431 highway will be relocated to the new campus on 3rd Avenue. Troy Phenix City will go from a 30-acre, five-building operation to a 3-acre, one-building operation.

Mark Your Place In History

You can be a part of the revitalization too by purchasing a personalized, engraved brick to be set in a prominet area of the new building.

  • You can personalize a brick for yourself, in honor of someone, to celebrate a graduation, or as a memorial for a loved one.
  • With your purchase, you will receive a keepsake in the form of a miniature brick. The miniature brick will be a replica of your original brick on display. The keepsake can be used as a paperweight, a novelty display, or simply as a gift to pass along.
