The RMI coursework is closely aligned with both the Associate in Surplus Lines Insurance (ASLI) and Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) professional designations. You’ll be able to work toward these and other designations while at TROY. As a graduate of our program, you’ll also find yourself well prepared for careers working with both the personal and commercial lines of insurance in the admitted market and also the excess and surplus (E&S) lines market. E&S insurance provides risk transfer solutions for risks that are unique, distressed, or require large capacity. Professionals in the industry creatively design insurance products for some of the world’s largest and most unique risks. TROY is home to one of the few programs in the country that allows a student to focus on the important E&S market.
