Troy Campus Learning Center's mission is to help learners gain, strengthen, and engage core academic skills to help them succeed in higher education, and throughout life.
The Troy University Learning Center (LC) offers peer instructional support services
and consultations to enrolled learners. Services are free, and include peer tutoring,
study skills support, academic skills building, scheduled initiatives, and motivational

Certified Peer Tutors
Troy University LC's certified peer tutors enjoy working with students to help students develop academic skills in writing, mathematics, and science. Tutors and other Learning Center staff work one-to-one or with small groups to help
learners gain and advance foundational skills.

Annually, we host the "Love of Literacy Day" project, supported by our Troy University volunteer collaborators. In the last two years, our literacy project collaborators have helped us collect and distribute 450 book gifts to area school libraries and classrooms. Our motive is simple: We want to inspire children to read more to develop literacy in multiple areas, including mathematics, writing, and science.

We are open for tutoring during the regular semesters when classes are in session on the Troy campus. When classes are not in session (during scheduled breaks and holidays), the Learning Center is closed. Schedules are also posted at our portal at LC Portal and Announcement Page.

Any student enrolled at TROY University can use the resources at the Learning Center at no cost to the learner. The university provides our services for your benefit.
If you are a TROY Online student (or attend another location) and need assistance online, go to NetTutor located inside your Canvas course (on the left side menu).
Any TROY student who visits us in person on the Troy Campus is welcome to use our services.
Yes and no.
We offer drop-in services every day, but sometimes we are pretty busy. Those hot spots are difficult to predict, so if you need to secure a spot for a specific subject on a specific day, we encourage you to set an appointment. You can either drop in to set an appointment or simply email us at learning center@troy.edu.
