About the MBA - International Relations Concentration at TROY

Troy University's Master of Business Administration with an international relations concentration (MBA-IR) enables students who are interested in foreign affairs to gain a perspective of international relations through the lens of business. The MBA-IR opens the door to a multitude of careers in small to large enterprises, as well as at the local, state and national levels.

Dr. Ying Schwarte

Dr. Ying Schwarte

Dr. Ying Schwarte, MBA Director and Associate Professor, holds a Ph.D. in Management from Auburn University, an MBA from the University of Phoenix, and a B.A. in English from Bei Hua University in China. Prior to joining academia, she worked for several years as the CFO for a healthcare provider and the Finance Director for a Tribal Government Organization in Southeast Alaska. She primarily teaches in the area of strategic management. Dr. Schwarte is a member of the Academy of Management and Southern Management Association.
