Pi Mu Epsilon

At TROY, we have a chapter of the National Mathematics Honor Society known as Pi Mu Epsilon.  We are one of only 7 universities in the state of Alabama that have such a chapter.  To become a member is one of the highest honors a mathematics student can receive as it is based primarily upon your academic performance in mathematics courses.  Therefore,  it really stands out on a resume to employers.  Moreover, you will have opportunities to have paid travel expenses to the national summer conference for Pi Mu Epsilon and the Mathematical Association of America.  This is a great learning and networking opportunity for students to meet other students across the U.S. as well as other mathematics faculty.
