Helen Keller Lecture Series
The Helen Keller Lecture Series at Troy University celebrates the life and legacy of Alabama’s most famous citizen, who overcame great odds to become the world’s foremost champion of those with special needs. Each year, this lecture represents a high point in the life of the University, and we are pleased this year to welcome Erik Weihenmayer as our speaker. Blind since the age of 14, Erik became the first blind man to reach the summit of Mount Everest, and he has scaled the seven major summits of the world.
Our stream will begin at 10 a.m., Wednesday, October 16, 2019
