Troy Campus Counseling Staff
Fran Scheel, Coordinator/Counselor
Fran Scheel serves as the Coordinator and Counselor for the Student Counseling Center
at Troy University. She earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology from Auburn University
and a master's degree in Psychology and Counseling from Troy University-Dothan. She
is a Nationally Certified Counselor, State Licensed Professional Counselor and an
approved Clinical Supervisor by both the NBCC and ABEC. Fran also serves as a R.A.D.
(Rape Aggression Defense) Self Defense instructor and as the State Director for R.A.D.
Systems. She is certified in Basic, Advanced, Keychain and Aerosol defense systems.
Jenny Duncan, Assistant Coordinator/Counselor
Jenny Duncan serves as the Assistant Coordinator and Counselor for the Student Counseling
Center at Troy University. She attended Troy University where she earned a bachelor’s
degree in Psychology and a master’s degree in Counseling and Psychology. She is a
Nationally Certified Counselor as well as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the
state of Alabama. Jenny serves as a R.A.D. (Rape Aggression Defense) instructor and
is certified in both Basic and Advanced Self Defense.
Morgan Johnson, Counselor
Morgan Johnson serves as a Counselor for the Student Counseling Center at Troy University.
She attended Troy University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and
a master’s degree in Counseling and Psychology. She is also an Associate Licensed
Counselor in the state of Alabama. Morgan is a certified R.A.D. (Rape Aggression Defense)
Basic and Advanced Self Defense instructor.
Elizabeth Mitchell, Counselor
Elizabeth Mitchell serves as a Counselor for the Student Counseling Center at Troy
University. She attended Troy University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Human
Services and a master’s degree in Counseling and Psychology. She is also an Associate
Licensed Counselor in the state of Alabama.
Christy Morrow, Departmental Secretary
Christy Morrow serves as the Departmental Secretary for the Student Counseling Center
at Troy University. She attended Troy University where she earned a bachelor’s degree
in Criminal Justice.
Rachel Isbell, Peer Educator
Rachel Isbell serves as the Peer Educator for the Student Counseling Center at Troy
University. She is currently working towards her Bachelor of Science in Elementary
Education. Rachel is a member of multiple on-campus ministry organizations and enjoys
doing calligraphy and art in her free time.
